Mora Woodcarving Knife
Long, straight blade designed for efficient material removal in carving projects. This straight long blade carving knife is ideal for quickly removing material when carving items such as spoons, bowls and other greenwood projects. The long blade allows smooth slicing cuts while maintaining excellent control during shaping and roughing work. The blade is made from carbon steel, providing exceptional toughness and edge retention while resisting lateral bending during demanding carving tasks. Its tapered construction improves cutting performance and control. A full rat-tail tang runs through the entire handle, delivering excellent strength and stability. The barrel-shaped birch handle has a natural feel in the hand and is finished with linseed oil for durability. The handle can also be customised or carved slightly to suit individual user preferences. A polymer sheath is included to help protect the blade during storage and transport.
